“The Journey Has Been Long but Rewarding.
Northbound Resource was built on a simple belief: exceptional companies deserve exceptional people, and finding them requires more than a database and a job posting. It requires curiosity, persistence, and a genuine commitment to understanding both the organization and the individual behind every search. I founded this firm after building my career across emergency medicine, business development, commercial real estate, and enterprise sales. Each chapter reinforced the same lesson: success has always been about people, relationships, and earning trust long before asking for it.
My professional journey began in emergency medicine, where I earned a degree in Emergency Medical Services and served as a State of Florida Paramedic and Firefighter. Those years taught me how to remain composed under pressure, communicate with clarity during uncertainty, and make decisions when the stakes were at their highest. The responsibility of caring for others shaped how I approach every client relationship today. Listening carefully, acting with integrity, and following through are not simply business principles to me; they are habits developed through experience.
As my career evolved, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Supervision and Management with honors from Broward College while continuing to expand my knowledge through Six Sigma and project management training. I transitioned into commercial real estate, where I participated in more than $30 million in transactions that demanded strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and thoughtful negotiation. Those experiences taught me to evaluate opportunities from multiple perspectives and reinforced that every successful outcome begins with understanding what truly matters to the people involved. Whether negotiating a transaction or recruiting an executive, the process always begins with asking better questions.
Life eventually presented a challenge no career could prepare me for. A catastrophic motor vehicle accident nearly claimed my life and required a long and difficult recovery. That experience changed my perspective on leadership, resilience, and the value of meaningful work. It reminded me that careers are more than titles or compensation. They shape families, organizations, and the lives of the people who depend on them. That perspective influences every search I conduct and every relationship I choose to build.
Northbound Resource is intentionally different. As a boutique executive search firm, I am not driven by volume or quotas. Every search receives my full attention because every client has unique goals, challenges, and expectations. I believe recruiting should be consultative rather than transactional, and that the best partnerships are built through transparency, communication, and consistent execution. My objective is not simply to fill a vacancy but to introduce people who strengthen organizations long after the hiring process is complete.
